Samsung S95F OLED
LG G6 OLED
The LG G6 OLED and the Samsung S95F OLED are both top-tier TVs that offer outstanding image quality and a ton of features. Both TVs are excellent for well-lit rooms, but the LG does a better job retaining its image quality in a bright room and is brighter in SDR. However, the Samsung has superior reflection handling, especially when it comes to direct reflections. Both TVs are very colorful, but the Samsung can display very bright colors better than the LG can. The LG has superior processing, but the Samsung has the wider viewing angle. You really can't go wrong with either option, so pick the TV that better suits your needs.

S95F until/unless LG can work out all the banding, posturization and issues in low luminance scenes. It’s like the G5 launch issues on steroids.
So the LG G6 is better in hdr test slides, higher sustained brightness, sdr brightness, hdr post calibration color accuracy, pq eotf, low quality content smoothing, gradient, upscaling, motion interpolation and obviously the coating is better. Against the S95F’s higher real scene peak brightness in hdr, sdr color accuracy, post hdr color accuracy, sdr and hdr color volume/brightness, viewing angle and gray uniformity. If the LG fixes certain issues it would come down to higher brightness, better motion and better pq eotf vs higher color brightness/volume and sdr color accuracy. The coating for many is a deal breaker but if it doesn’t bother you or even is better in your case to have a matt coating, i don’t see a reason to pay extra for a few upgrades alongside with a few downgrades. Pls lmk if i’m wrong.
