TCL Q5/Q550G QLED
TCL Q5/Q550F QLED
The TCL Q550G and the TCL Q550F are basically interchangeable, with the primary difference being their operating systems; the Q550G uses Google TV, while the Q550F uses Amazon's Fire TV OS. Otherwise, they perform more or less the same, although the Q550F has better reflection handling while the Q550G has a wider viewing angle. The Q550F also passes through advanced DTS audio formats through eARC.

Judder Reduction
In the review for this TV it is stated that there is no judder control, but there is something in the settings menu, at least on my TU7000 which (at least based on its own software check) has the current firmware as of 03-29-24
In the menu:
General > External Device Manager > Game Mode Settings > Game Motion Plus Settings > Game Motion Plus > Judder Reduction (1-10) … and just under that setting in the menu, also there is LED Clear Motion (off/on)
Our unit has those settings as well, but the naming is misleading, unfortunately. Judder Reduction controls the TV’s motion interpolation feature, and even with it on it still can’t remove judder. The LED Clear Motion setting controls the TV’s black frame insertion feature, which, again, doesn’t help to remove judder.
UN TU 7000 Piece of crap. Just over 2 years old the panel needs replacing at a cost $1072.00 . It was $850.00 new. Do not recommend Samsung tvs.
