Canon PIXMA PRO-200S
The Canon PIXMA PRO-200S is a newer version of the Canon PIXMA PRO-200 with nearly identical features. The newer PRO-200S is, unfortunately, a slight downgrade from its predecessor, as it isn't as color-accurate and doesn't perform as well in reproducing fine details. Its black page yield is better than the PRO-200, but its color page yield is significantly lower, resulting in a slightly higher cost per print.

Interesting article as I just took hold of a new pixma pro 200s. I have a pixma pro 200 currently working in my office and felt compelled to see how/what the differences would show.
As for printing time, there was a 4-5 second finish delay on the newer Pixma Pro 200S.
As for printing 13x19 , the article just indeed prove to be correct. The Pixma Pro 200S is slightly off (slightly) more noticeably on the reds and saturation.
Not that much of a big deal and most wouldn’t even notice. All could be adjusted within Photoshop.
The review it’s fair and correct. coming from a consumer not related to anything or anyone associated
still a dynamite printer and prints unbelievable photos.

Hello there, Thank you for your comment. We have found those differences trough testing, you can check how we test on the top right of every test result. In many cases refreshes of similar products do perform slightly different.
You are correct that our testing regarding connectivity is mostly checking that the features exists and they work as expected. We do not go into further details regarding security for example. I appreciate your suggestion on this regard.
I find this review very revealing. Not about the printer (since the Pro-200 and the Pro-200S are the same except the wifi is now more secure) but about the RTINGS website. The Pro-200 and the Pro-200S are EXACTLY THE SAME… same print head, same cartridges, same colour etc… except in the wifi. The original has an insecure WIFI. So how the heck did this website make such bold claims about colour reproduction, or speed or any differences at all! FAKE NEWS!
