Our Verdict

LG C4 OLED

Sony BRAVIA 8 II OLED

The Sony BRAVIA 8 II OLED is mostly better than the LG C4 OLED. The Sony is brighter in HDR, so highlights stand out more in HDR content. The Sony has a large advantage when it comes to color volume, so colors are brighter and more vibrant, especially in HDR movies, shows, and games. It also has better image processing overall, so it delivers superior upscaling, color gradients with less banding, and a more accurate image when it comes to the brightness of HDR content. On the other hand, the LG has lower input lag, supports FreeSync, has four HDMI 2.1 ports, and supports 4k @ 144Hz, making it the more versatile gaming TV.
