LG G5 OLED
TCL QM8K
The LG G5 is better than the TCL QM8K. The LG TV's nearly infinite contrast ratio delivers deeper, more uniform blacks with no haloing at all around bright parts of the scene. The TCL is better than most LCD TVs in that regard, but the LG is still noticeably better. On the other hand, the TCL gets brighter than the LG, especially in some HDR scenes where most of the screen is bright at once, but most HDR content doesn't need that extra brightness.
