Our Verdict

LG UQ7590 [UQ75, UQ7570]

LG UR9000

Although both TVs aren't very good, the LG UR9000 is slightly better than the LG UQ75. The UR9000 gets brighter in both SDR and HDR, so it can handle a bit more glare in a room with some lights on when watching SDR content, and highlights stand out a little bit more when watching HDR content. The UR9000 also has a faster response time, so there is less blur behind quick motion.

Own one of the listed 75 series. To all owners of the above: if u get radio static, with a distorted picture, and TV does things on its own the solution is simple: DEMAND LG to replace the Motherboard. Then all of the issues will vanish. Worked for me.

Have had a LG 43UR9000PUA just over a year. The past 4 months things got ugly. Whatching U-Tube, etc., then TV blast the sound of static ( like a radio off station). Remote could not stop it. Had to to unplug Set. Contacted Customer Support. Then had me turn off certain options, on 2 seperate “service” calls. Now, as writing this, will call back for THIRD time, same issue, but worse. TV now turns on/ off by itself.
