The Samsung S90D and the TCL QM8K excel in different ways, so the best one really depends on your needs and how you plan to use the TV. The Samsung TV delivers the best dark room experience, with deep inky blacks, perfect black uniformity, and no distracting haloing around bright highlights or subtitles. The TCL TV, on the other hand, is the better choice for daytime viewing in a bright room, as it gets considerably brighter in SDR and can better overcome glare.
