Sony BRAVIA 9
Sony BRAVIA 9 II
The Sony BRAVIA 9 II is a worthy successor and noticeable improvement over the original Sony BRAVIA 9. The Mark 2 offers higher peak brightness, allowing it to deliver a more impactful movie-watching experience with bright highlight details and more vivid colors. The Mark 2 also significantly improves bright room visibility thanks to its matte anti-reflective coating, which all but eliminates direct reflections entirely.

I have a bravia 9 85 inches.I use a shield TV pro with BT 2020,I also use apple TV 4 k. also I use the IMAX enhancement mode for all my content and its the most natural I feel and sharp . i watch lots of sports like cricket on dish 1080 p and prime and netflix and YouTube 4k videos.I have a normal lit room with no reflections. I feel I have the best of both worlds almost oled and led. Does bravia 9 mark 2 make a big jump considering what set up I have. Also with Matt finish bravia 9 mark 2 picture get effected in normal lit room especially the contrast gets less. Should I upgrade to bravia 9 mark 2 or can easily wait for next year.
We are looking into reworking our sound testing for TVs in the near future.
When will they bring back distortion testing
So as of the pricing right now.. you could ALMOST get 2 65” Bravia 9 for the price of 1 - 65” Bravia 9ii!! Or another way to look at it.. 2 - 75” QM8L / QM9K, or 2 - 85” U8QG, or possibly even 2 - 77”C5 if you can still find them. As impressive as the specs and colors and everything else is on the Bravia 9ii, I just can’t seem to justify the the significant cost difference to performance. Not to mention it gets even worse for the 75” and 85” :/
No, we no longer test distortion.
Did they test the distortion on the TV
