Our Verdict
MSI Katana 15 HX (2025)
Dell Alienware 15 (2026)
The MSI Katana 15 HX (2025) is a bit better for gaming than the Dell Alienware 15 (2026), but the Dell is better for everyday use. The MSI is built for performance: its Intel HX processors are more powerful than the Alienware's AMD and Intel options, and its lineup goes up to an RTX 5070, while the Alienware tops out at an RTX 5060. The MSI's QHD display option is also sharper and far more colorful than the 1920 x 1200 panel that every Alienware uses. The Alienware is the better everyday laptop, though. It has a much sturdier build, a more comfortable keyboard and touchpad, and much longer battery life with light use.
