Dell Alienware AW2724DM

The Dell Alienware AW2723DF is a higher-end monitor than the Dell Alienware AW2724DM. The main difference is that the AW2723DF has a much higher 280Hz refresh rate compared to 180Hz on the AW2724DM. The AW2723DF also has some extra features, like two more USB ports and an audio output, which the AW2724DM doesn't have. Besides that, the AW2723DF is slightly better for browsing the web or general office work as it has better text clarity.

    How does this monitor(AW2723DF) have lower ratings than a less premium monitor (AW2724DM)? Is this because it is more expensive and therefore should be better than it is? I’m still in doubt whether I should get it because your review of it wasn’t that good regarding VRR, CAD, HDR Brightness, Black Uniformity, Reflections. Shouldn’t the IPS Nano Color Panel be better than the “Fast IPS” Panel of the less premium version (AW2724DM)?

    Hey, we can’t speculate on why one model is better than the other, and we don’t take the expected performance for the price into account either. The main advantage of the AW2724DM is that it has better motion handling, so that’s why it’s scoring higher.
