The Kiprun Kipstorm Elite and Kiprun Kipstorm Lab are carbon-plated racing shoes from the same lineup, but the Lab is the more experimental model. Its main advantage is weight: it delivers similar cushioning and responsiveness in a much lighter package, making it slightly more efficient across race distances. Get the Lab only if you’re chasing the last few percent of performance gains. The Elite offers nearly the same racing ability for less money and has an even bouncier, more energetic ride, making it the better choice for most runners.
