Samsung S95H OLED
LG C6 OLED 2026
The Samsung S95H OLED is much better than the LG C6 OLED 2026. The Samsung model delivers brighter, more vivid colors that stand out better when watching most movies and shows. The Samsung TV is also better for a bright room, as it has significantly better reflection handling. This reduces glare from lights and windows considerably, and combined with its higher peak brightness, both light and dark scenes are easier to see on the Samsung.

That’s funny you brought up the subject; we had the S95H in our living room last week, side by side with the LG C6 and other TVs. We did a blind test on a loop program of CNN (broadcast), Hockey (sport broadcast) and Community on Netflix.
The matte vs glossy is really a case of you love it or hate it. We had a lot of variance in how people ranked these based on this alone. For processing and upscaling, our score already shows that the C6 perform above the S95H. Though seeing both televisions side by side, I don’t think I would justify an additional downgrade to the Samsung. Again, this is highly subjective, but of the 30 people who looked at the television side by side, there were really few comments about the processing difference between the two televisions.
That being said, we are exploring new solutions to better highlight the difference in processing between televisions, hence the “in-development” label under processing. We are very happy to hear if you have an idea of a scene or condition where one television outperforms the other in a significant way.
I’ll repeat, you don’t give enough weight to processing and upscaling of sdr material. If you use these panels on a variety of sources, including a lot of broadcast tv, the Samsung deserves much more a downgrade, certainly not the highest rating ever for a panel! Let alone the issues with black raise in brighter rooms. Too much weight on cave viewing of hi res reference material. I personally wouldn’t buy this panel for diversified viewing due to its less than stellar sdr processing. I am in the process of returning an s90f for those exact reasons, lovely colors, mediocre sdr processing. Buying an lg c6 instead. Regards. Ned.
