Sony BRAVIA 8 OLED
Sony BRAVIA 5
Despite the similar naming, the Sony BRAVIA 8 is a very different and much better TV than the Sony BRAVIA 5. The BRAVIA 8 is an OLED TV with perfect contrast, delivering deep, inky blacks in a dark room with absolutely no haloing around bright highlights or subtitles. The BRAVIA 8 is also better for gaming, as it delivers crystal-clear motion with no blur behind fast-moving objects. The BRAVIA 5 is a better choice for daytime viewing in a bright room, though, as it gets considerably brighter in SDR.
