Samsung DU8000
The Samsung DU8000 edges out the Sony X77L/X77CL overall. While the Sony gets brighter, the Samsung delivers much better contrast and black uniformity and boasts a broader color gamut and volume, so images look more vibrant than on the Sony. That said, the Sony is more accurate straight out of the box and offers a wider viewing angle, making it the better choice for wide seating setups.
