Apple Studio Display XDR
BenQ MA270S
The Apple Studio Display XDR and the BenQ MA270S are both 5k, 27-inch monitors geared towards Mac users. The Apple monitor is higher-end with superior picture quality, mainly thanks to its Mini LED backlighting and effective local dimming feature. This allows the Apple monitor to display deeper blacks with brighter highlights in HDR. Although the Apple monitor has a higher 120Hz refresh rate, motion looks bad on both. They both support Thunderbolt, but the Apple monitor has higher-bandwidth Thunderbolt 5 ports. That said, the BenQ is more versatile for different uses as it has HDMI 2.1 ports, and it has a KVM switch that makes it easy to switch between different sources and use the same devices on both.
