Our Verdict

Valerion VisionMaster Pro 2

Hisense M2 Pro

The Hisense M2 Pro and the Valerion VisionMaster Pro 2 each have their own advantages, depending on what you prioritize. The Valerion is much brighter and serves as a better multimedia hub in large part due to its greater number of ports and eARC passthrough. On the other hand, the Hisense has better contrast and is significantly more accurate out-of-the-box. It's also much smaller than the Valerion, so it's easier to bring with you. Both projectors support all resolutions (including pixel-shifted 4k), and have similar input lag across most refresh rates. However, while the Hisense has significantly more responsive input lag at 4k @ 60Hz than the Valerion, the latter has noticeably lower input lag at 4k @ 120 Hz, so gamers can take full advantage of newer gen consoles.
