Kiprun Kipstorm Lab

The ASICS METASPEED RAY and Kiprun Kipstorm Lab are soft, forefoot-plated racing shoes built for very fast runners. The ASICS is the better shoe overall, with lower weight, better cushioning, and more energy return for runners looking to maximize race-day performance. Both are unstable, but the Kiprun feels slightly more controlled and has a more rocker-driven ride, so get it if you prefer a ride that's not quite as extreme.
