Our Verdict
adidas Adizero Adios Pro 4
PUMA Deviate NITRO Elite 4
The PUMA Deviate NITRO Elite 4 is a better marathon racer than the adidas Adizero Adios Pro 4 for most runners. It's lighter and more predictable underfoot while still being very efficient. The adidas is bouncier up front, especially if you land on the front of your foot, but its aggressive shape and large cutout in the sole make it feel less conventional.
