We purchase our own TVs and put them under the same test bench, so that you can compare the results easily. No cherry-picked units sent by brands.
As usual for a Samsung TV, we set the picture mode of the Samsung JU6700 to 'Movie' for our calibration settings.
This TV was calibrated for a dark room. If you find the picture too dim, increase 'Backlight'.
For high-quality media like a PC, gaming console, or even a Blu-ray player, keep 'Digital Clean View' and 'MPEG Noise Filter' off. For DVDs, cable, or streaming content, set them to 'High' to reduce the noise.
This is a 60Hz TV, but it does have the motion interpolation feature (Auto Motion Plus). It only works on 24Hz and 30Hz footage though, not 60Hz.
