Our Verdict

Samsung Q80/Q80R QLED

LG CX OLED

The LG CX OLED is better than the Samsung Q80R. The LG can individually turn off its pixels, so it's able to produce perfect blacks. It also has much wider viewing angles, a quicker response time, and better out-of-the-box color accuracy. The Samsung gets much brighter, and it doesn't have permanent burn-in risk.
