Apple Studio Display 2026

The Apple Studio Display 2026 is an updated version of the Apple Studio Display 2022. The 2026 model carries over many of the same features and performs similarly for the most part. One main difference is that newer model supports Thunderbolt 5, as opposed to Thunderbolt 3 on the older version. The 2026 monitor also supports daisy chaining to connect a second screen directly to it.

Hey, you can see the full breakdown of the Studio Display 2026 vs the Studio Display XDR. Essentially, the XDR is the much better choice for content creation because of its Mini LED backlighting and better picture quality. If you’re editing content in HDR, you pretty much have to go with the XDR since the regular Studio Display 2026 doesn’t support it. However, if you edit content in SDR and don’t have the budget for the XDR, the Studio Display 2026 is still solid.
