Samsung S95D OLED
LG G5 OLED
The LG G5 OLED is better overall than the Samsung S95D OLED. The Samsung is a QD-OLED, so it displays more vibrant colors, although the LG still performs very well here. Both TVs are great in a bright room, and the Samsung does a better job handling direct reflections, but the LG is better overall due to its superior SDR brightness and the fact that it retains its black levels and colors much better in a room with ambient lighting. The LG also does a superior job upscaling and cleaning up artifacts in low-bitrate content, making it the better option for watching low-quality content. The LG supports 165Hz for PC gamers, and it supports Dolby Vision for home theater enthusiasts.
