Test Results
Longevity
The SweetNight CoolNest mattress isn't particularly durable. Some of the foam in the mattress is dense enough to be considered good quality, but about half of the layers, including the lower comfort layer and support layer, are made of lower-density foam. These lower-quality layers make the mattress more prone to forming permanent impressions or sagging.

The upper comfort layer is made of 'PCMflux High Resilience Foam', a gel-infused memory foam layer with higher responsiveness than classic memory foam. It also contains phase-change materials meant to help with cooling. The lower comfort layer is also made of gel-infused memory foam, but it behaves more like classic memory foam, with an unbouncy, contouring feel. The transition layer and support layer are both made of bouncy polyfoam.
This mattress isn't very durable, since it uses a mix of low-quality and good-quality foam. The upper comfort layer and transition layer just meet the standard for good-quality foam, and will resist forming permanent indentations for longer than lower-quality materials. However, the memory foam lower comfort layer and the support layer are not dense enough to be considered good quality. These layers will be more prone to sagging and impressions.
Pressure Relief
The SweetNight CoolNest mattress offers impressive pressure relief. Most people will sink deeply into its soft, contouring memory foam comfort layers, which helps cushion pressure points. Its impressive body conformity makes it suitable for average-weight and heavier side sleepers. However, it's less conforming for lighter people, who will sink into it less. If you're a side sleeper in that weight category, better body conformity would be ideal.

Responsiveness
The SweetNight CoolNest mattress is a responsive mattress. This memory foam mattress is somewhat bouncy, so it doesn't have a lifeless feel, like some all-foam models. The gel-infused memory foam upper comfort layer adapts quickly when you move, so overall, it feels easy to move around on.

It offers adequate support for lighter people, but isn't ideal for back/stomach sleepers in other weight categories.
This mattress has sub-par edge support. There's nothing built into the edges for extra support, and they compress easily, forming a ramp outward. This makes sleeping on the side of the bed less comfortable, and it isn't ideal for people who want a sturdy surface for getting in and out of bed.
This mattress's '3D Knitted Cooling Nylon Cover' is meant to provide a cooling feel. It's removable but not machine-washable.
The mattress edges have no additional component for extra support, and they compress easily.
The upper comfort layer is just 1.0" (2.5 cm) thick, and most people will fully compress it and also interact with the 2.0" (5 cm) memory foam lower comfort layer. These layers help give the mattress its enveloping, contouring feel. Below the memory foam layers, you have a 5.7" (14.5 cm) polyfoam transition layer and a 4.9" (12.4 cm) support layer. The support layer has an unusual design: it has 2.6" (6.7 cm)-deep channels cut into it, and 1.5" (3.7 cm)-high foam rods (made of the same polyfoam) placed into each channel. This means the support layer height is 4.5" (11.5 cm) where the channels are, and 4.9" (12.5 cm) everywhere else. This design isn't described in the manufacturer's specifications, and may be a cost-saving measure, since a solid layer would require more foam.
