Dell G2724D
ASUS ROG Strix XG27ACS
The Dell G2724D and the ASUS ROG Strix XG27ACS are competing entry-level 1440p gaming monitors. They perform similarly, and the biggest differences come down to features. The ASUS has extra features like a USB-C port with DisplayPort Alt Mode, and ELMB backlight strobing to reduce persistence blur. The ASUS also has better motion handling, but they're both good choices for gaming.

We’ve purchased the product and are waiting for it to arrive in our lab.
What firmware version will the testing be done on? There seems to be many reported input issues with the default firmware, but newer versions add debounce delay to compensate for it
Hey!
We always update to the latest firmware when we test keyboards. In this case, we’ve got the latest one that was released on Feb 29th (v1.03), so nothing to worry about for that!
I was almost about to buy Nuphy air75 v2. But after seeing this decided to hold it off for now. When can we expect the early access?
It’s currently in testing right now! We’re expecting to be able to publish the early access results early next week.
Will the beta firmware (1.1.1) also be tested? It’s only accessible if you contact nuphy support and ask for it, but it seems to have fully fixed the input issues and might potentially have lower latency than 1.03
Hey!
Unfortunately, we don’t test beta firmware unless the product is completely broken without it (which is a whole other problem in and of itself). We want to make sure we’re testing the latest firmware that the company has established as being complete and good for the product.
That said, we are aware of the firmware and, if there are issues it resolves/features it adds, we’ll definitely retest those if needed. You’ll be able to check out the results in early access pretty soon!
Early access to our full test results is now available for Insiders! Become an insider to check it out here.
