Samsung Odyssey G50D S27DG50
Dell Alienware AW3225DM
The Samsung Odyssey G50D S27DG50 and the Dell Alienware AW3225DM are both budget-friendly gaming monitors with a few differences. They use different panel types, as the VA panel of the Dell displays deeper blacks, whereas the IPS panel of the Samsung has a wider viewing angle, which is helpful for co-op gaming. Although they both have fairly good motion handling, the Dell has more smearing in dark content, and the Samsung has more blur behind fast-moving objects. The Dell does have an advantage for gaming with a PS5, though, as it supports VRR with the console, unlike the Samsung.
