The GravaStar Mercury X Pro is a lightweight wireless gaming mouse with a magnesium alloy frame and a symmetrical shape. It features customizable RGB lighting that shines through the frame and is also present on the 2.4GHz wireless receiver. It uses a PixArt PAW 3950 sensor and Omron mechanical switches for the main click buttons.
Our Verdict
The GravaStar Mercury X Pro is good for work. It has a symmetrical shape with a magnesium exoskeleton that's remarkably well-built but somewhat impractical, as it doesn't allow much grip flexibility due to material gaps where you may rest your fingers. This design also leaves the mouse's internal electronics somewhat open to dust and debris, potentially harming long-term reliability. While it supports Bluetooth, it doesn't have other productivity features, such as a multi-function scroll wheel.
Remarkable build quality.
Bluetooth connectivity.
Open shell design leaves internal components somewhat exposed to debris ingress.
Cutouts throughout the shell limit grip flexibility.
The GravaStar Mercury X Pro is an outstanding FPS gaming mouse. The mouse has fantastic raw performance that's suitable for gaming at any competitive level. Design-wise, it has an extremely lightweight magnesium exoskeleton with outstanding overall build quality. It has a symmetrical shape that's on the smaller side, but is well-suited for various hand sizes and grip types. The shell has large cutouts that might require you to alter your grip, however, as they could get in the way of where you rest your fingers. The open design also leaves the mouse's internal components somewhat open to collecting debris.

The GravaStar Mercury X Pro is very good for MMO and MOBA gaming, but it doesn't have nearly as many side buttons as dedicated MMO mice. Otherwise, the mouse has a well-built magnesium shell and a symmetrical shape that's suitable for various hand sizes and grip types. That said, the holes throughout the shell could affect your grip depending on where you rest your fingers, and also somewhat allow for debris to accumulate on the internal components, potentially affecting longevity. Performance-wise, the mouse delivers fantastic click and sensor latency that's suitable for competitive or casual play.

Popular Mouse Comparisons
The GravaStar Mercury X Pro is a lightweight gaming mouse that features a magnesium exoskeletal shell and RGB lighting effects that shine through the shell. It has a symmetrical shape that's well-suited for most grip types and hand sizes, and is comfortable as long as the large holes in the shell don't bother you. Despite its upper mid-range price, it delivers superb raw performance that's on par with major flagships like the Logitech G PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE and the Razer Viper V4 Pro. That said, it only offers a 12-month warranty that's decidedly shorter than the two-year standard warranties offered by Logitech and Razer.

The AM INFINITY and the GravaStar Mercury X Pro are lightweight wireless gaming mice with open magnesium alloy exoskeletons. The biggest difference between the two is that the AM has a magnetic hot-swappable battery system, while the GravaStar has a standard onboard rechargeable battery.
The Razer Viper V4 Pro and the GravaStar Mercury X Pro are lightweight wireless gaming mice that take two very distinct directions for their shell designs. The Razer has a conventional, understated, lightweight plastic shell, while the GravaStar has a magnesium alloy exoskeleton with RGB lighting effects. Both actually have a similar shape that's suitable for a variety of hand sizes and grip types, but the GravaStar's open design could be uncomfortable depending on how you hold the mouse. Otherwise, both mice deliver outstanding raw performance that's more than suitable for competitive gaming.
