The Ninjutso Sora V3 is a lightweight wireless gaming mouse and the successor to the Ninjutso Sora V2. It has the same medium-sized symmetrical shape but has a reworked internal structure that reduces flex. It also features an AIMNINJA 2 PRO 45K sensor and Ninjutso SPDT HyperSwitch mechanical switches in place of the V2's Omron optical switches. An 8000Hz wireless receiver is included, and Ninjutso advertises significantly longer battery life than the previous generation.
Our Verdict
The Ninjutso Sora V3 is decent for work. It has excellent build quality, quiet clicks, and a comfortable symmetrical shape. You can customize its controls on Windows and macOS using the web-based client. However, it lacks Bluetooth and multi-device pairing, making it less convenient for switching between computers. Its scroll wheel also lacks tilt inputs and free scrolling for navigating wide spreadsheets or long documents.

The Ninjutso Sora V3 is a superb FPS gaming mouse. Its remarkably low weight makes it easy to move quickly and accurately, and its shape is especially well-suited for claw grippers. It also feels sturdy and glides smoothly. Its accurate sensor and exceptionally low wireless click latency provide a responsive experience for casual or competitive gaming.

Remarkably lightweight.
The Ninjutso Sora V3 is good for MMO gaming, though it lacks the large array of side buttons found on dedicated MMO mice. You can customize its controls, but its two side buttons limit how many extra commands you can keep within easy reach. Otherwise, it feels well-built and has a comfortable symmetrical shape that's best suited for a claw grip with average-sized hands. Its exceptionally low wireless click latency and accurate sensor provide responsive gameplay.

Popular Mouse Comparisons
The Ninjutso Sora V3 is a lightweight wireless gaming mouse that succeeds the Ninjutso Sora V2. Its symmetrical shape is unchanged from its predecessor, but it has a reworked internal structure that reduces body flex. It also introduces a new sensor, includes a receiver that supports its maximum polling rate of 8000Hz, has a longer advertised battery life, and has mechanical SPDT (single-pole double-throw) main-button switches that aim to reduce click latency while also reducing the likelihood of accidental double clicks.
It has superb wireless performance, but its SPDT switch implementation doesn't provide the same performance uplift as the Endgame Gear OP1 8k v2, a wired mouse that uses the same switch technology. Additionally, there are now alternative wireless options at lower price points like the MCHOSE L7 Ultra and the ATK Blazing Sky F1 V2 Extreme that offer similar, if not better, performance. Regardless, the Ninjutso Sora V3 remains an excellent lightweight option if its shape works for you.

The Ninjutso Sora V3 and the Razer Viper V4 Pro are lightweight wireless gaming mice. The Ninjutso's shape is better suited for claw grippers with its rear-positioned hump, while the Razer's shape is accommodating for a wide variety of grip types and hand sizes. Beyond shape, the Ninjutso is lighter, but the Razer delivers slightly better raw performance.
The Ninjutso Sora V3 and the Ninjutso Sora V2 have identical symmetrical shapes, but the V3 has a reworked internal structure that reduces flex. It also has a new sensor, mechanical SPDT (single-pole double-throw) switches instead of optical switches, and a longer advertised battery life. The V3 includes an 8000Hz receiver, whereas the V2 we tested came with a 1000Hz receiver and required a separate purchase for higher polling rates. The V3 has slightly better wireless click latency, but the V2 we tested has slightly better sensor latency and much lower wired click latency.
The Ninjutso Sora V3 and the Scyrox V8 are lightweight wireless gaming mice with rear-positioned humps that make them well-suited for claw grip. The Ninjutso is wider across the top and has more pronounced grooves in its main buttons, compared to the Scyrox's narrower shape. Both offer superb gaming performance and support 8000Hz polling with their included receivers.
The Ninjutso Sora V3 and the LAMZU MAYA X are lightweight wireless gaming mice with symmetrical shapes and included 8000Hz receivers. The Ninjutso is smaller and has a hump positioned farther back, making it especially well-suited for a claw grip. The LAMZU has a more centered hump and accommodates a wider range of grip types. Both deliver responsive gaming performance, so the LAMZU is worth considering if you want a less claw-focused shape.
