The HiFiMan Arya Organic are an updated and refined pair of open-back, planar magnetic headphones within the popular Arya line. Equipped with the manufacturer's patented 'Stealth Magnets,' which are posited to transparently improve soundstage, they aim to build on the blueprint of the HiFiMan Arya Stealth Magnet Version. While the distinctive 'window shade' ear cup grilles remain, this model adds natural wood accents to the ear cup for a more 'organic' look.
Our Verdict
The HiFiMan Arya Organic aren't suitable for sports and fitness. Their heavy, unstable, and wired design makes them a poor choice for the most intense activity, and they're designed primarily for at-home listening.
Comfortable fit.
Bulky design and large frame.
Leak a lot of audio.
The HiFiMan Arya Organic aren't suitable for travel use. Their open-back design leaks a lot of audio into your immediate environment, and it does very little to block out external sounds, too. Their large frame doesn't fold up, taking up valuable space in your bag, and they lack a carrying case for easy storage. That said, they're very comfortable headphones that can be worn for long trips without applying too much pressure on the head.
Comfortable fit.
Next to no noise isolation.
Bulky design and large frame.
Leak a lot of audio.
The HiFiMan Arya Organic are a terrible choice for office work. While they're comfortable enough to be worn for an entire work day, their open-back design means you'll hear every bit of water-cooler talk around you. Plus, they leak a lot of audio, so your cubicle mates will hear a tinny version of whatever gets you through your workday.

The HiFiMan Arya Organic are wired-only headphones that can't be used wirelessly.
The HiFiMan Arya Organic are okay for wired gaming. They're comfortable headphones that offer a low-latency performance via their wired connection, and their open-back design can add a level of immersion to single and multiplayer games alike. Their bright sound profile is well-suited to most games, too, with enough low-range heft to bring out enemy footsteps, while retaining detail and articulation in the treble range. Just be aware that you'll need to purchase a separate microphone if you want to communicate with your teammates, as you can only receive audio.

Premium build quality.

The HiFiMan Arya Organic are good for audio reproduction accuracy. Their frequency response follows their bright sound profile for the most part, with some deviations in the treble range that can render sibilance a little unevenly. Still, their sound profile offers a lot of versatility, with enough low-end to add thump and growl to dub-step tracks, while maintaining plenty of high-end detail and clarity for your favorite live jazz records. Their L/R drivers are well-matched, too, with no audible shifts in the phase and frequency response. The PRTF response isn't too dissimilar from that of an angled monitor, either, adding a layer of immersion to your favorite tunes.
The HiFiMan Arya Organic have a terrible noise isolation performance, though this is a necessary byproduct of their open-back design, which lets in a lot of audio. As a result, environmental audio, like background conversations and planes passing overhead, is vividly audible. They also leak a lot of audio into your surroundings, so you'll want to avoid listening with them in public.
The HiFiMan Arya Organic don't have a built-in microphone.
The HiFiMan Arya Organic are excellent for frequency response consistency. Regardless of your physical characteristics, a small amount of adjustment should be all you need to ensure consistent audio delivery. This is even the case for those who wear glasses, where the glasses' arms can often disrupt the over-ear seal.

Differences Between Sizes And Variants
The HiFiMan Arya Organic come in just one color variant: 'Black,' though their pale wood accents help differentiate them from the similar-looking headphones in the Arya line. We've taken a photo of the label for you to see.

Popular Headphones Comparisons
The HiFiMan Arya Organic are part of the brand's Arya line of audiophile, open-back over-ears that employ planar magnetic drivers and 'stealth magnet' technology. While the Arya Organic share the distinctive ear cup grilles, premium build quality, and comfortable fit of the original HiFiMan Arya, they feature wooden design accents and a sound profile that injects a bit of extra bass and treble for a slightly more excited sound. They face stiff competition in the planar magnetic, open-back market from the likes of the Audeze LCD-X (which offer a darker treble presentation with some subtle roll-off in the bass), as well as alternatives like the FIIO FT1 Pro that sacrifice some build quality to deliver planar sound at a lower price point.
If you're looking for other alternatives, check out the best open-back headphones, the best audiophile headphones, and the best over-ear headphones.
The HiFiMan Arya Organic and the Audeze LCD-X are both premium, open-back audiophile headphones equipped with planar magnetic drivers. Choosing between them will likely come down to your preference in sound. The Audeze have a darker treble presentation, which can help prevent ear fatigue over longer sessions. However, they also roll off the bass range compared to the HiFiMan, which might deter those who want a bit more low-end heft. The HiFiMan have a much sharper treble range that's well-suited to identifying clicks and pops during audio editing, but they could be fatiguing over long sessions. Both headphones are similarly comfortable and well-built, with immersive soundstages, though the Audeze do come with an impressive hard case for transportation.
The HiFiMan Arya Organic is a modified version of the original HiFiMan Arya. While both are over-ear, open-back cans with planar magnetic drivers, they have some subtle differences in their sound profile that set them apart. The Organic have a touch more low end, bringing out the meat in kick drums and basslines, as well as a slightly accentuated high-end, which adds air to acoustic guitars and strings. Still, the sound profiles are largely very similar. Both headphones are similarly comfortable and well-built, though the Organics' use of natural wood accents help them stand out a little bit.
The HiFiMan Sundara 2020 and the HiFiMan Arya Organic are both audiophile open-backs, equipped with planar magnetic drivers. The Sundara 2020 have a smoother treble response and a slightly recessed bass response that's well-suited to studio applications, while the Arya Organic's fuller bass range and sharper treble response make for a more excited sound. Both headphones are very comfortable on the head, but the Arya Organic are slightly better built, using more premium materials, while the Sundara 2020 have a more stable fit. Ultimately, choosing between them will come down to what kind of sound profile you prefer.
The FIIO FT1 Pro and the HiFiMan Arya Organic are both planar-equipped, open-back audiophile headphones that cater to different price points. The two offer a comparable sound with some subtle differences. The HiFiMan feature a more pronounced bass range and flatter mids, with a sharper treble response that can bring out sounds like string noise. The FIIO roll off a bit more bass and opt for a darker sound in the treble range that's better suited to longer listening sessions. The HiFIMan are better built, using more premium materials, but both headphones have a comfortable over-ear fit.
