Raw Performance

The GLORIOUS Model O is an excellent ultra-light gaming mouse that feels very well-built and solid, with a honeycomb-pattern design that places it among the lightest mice we’ve tested. This wired-only model comes with an outstanding cable that’s lightweight and flexible. It has a total of six buttons, including two on the side, and all of them are easily programmable within the companion software. The sensor's performance is also extremely accurate and consistent, and the mouse has a wide CPI range. It also has excellent click latency and a very comfortable ambidextrous design suitable for any grip style. However, its large body isn’t well-suited for people with smaller hands who may feel more comfortable using the GLORIOUS Model O-, a smaller version that performs similarly.

Our Verdict

5.8 Work

The GLORIOUS Model O is only decent for office use. It feels very well-built and should be comfortable enough for all-day use for most people. However, it's wired only, so it may be problematic if you have a small or cluttered desk with things the cable can get caught on. On the plus side, all six buttons are programmable, which can be useful to help with your workflow and jumping through your desktop quicker. If you have smaller hands, you may want to check out the GLORIOUS Model O instead, as this mouse may be slightly too large.

Cons
  • Isn't suitable for small hands with any grip type.
  • Can’t be used wirelessly.

7.4 Video Games (MMO)

The GLORIOUS Model O is decent for MMO games. It performs well and should be comfortable enough for long gaming sessions. Unfortunately, it only has two extra side buttons, so hardcore MMO fans may be better off looking at something more dedicated to those types of games. It's also worth noting that this mouse is a little large, so those with smaller hands may want to consider the GLORIOUS Model O- instead.

Pros

Differences Between Sizes And Variants

While we tested the glossy white version, the GLORIOUS Model O is also available in glossy black, matte white, and matte black. There’s also a smaller version, the GLORIOUS Model O-, and a wireless version, the GLORIOUS Model O Wireless.

Compared To Other Mice

The GLORIOUS Model O is a lightweight gaming mouse with an ambidextrous shape. It's lightweight and feels very well-built, which can be an issue sometimes with mice that have honeycomb cutouts in their body. For more options, see our recommendations for the best mouse, the best wired mouse, and the best gaming mouse.

GLORIOUS Model D

The GLORIOUS Model O and the GLORIOUS Model D are both ultra-light gaming mice that perform very similarly. The main difference is the shape of these two mice. The Model O is an ambidextrous mouse, while the Model D has a right-slanted design. The Model D also has a higher lift-off distance and seems to have more flex than the Model O.

GLORIOUS Model O 2

The GLORIOUS Model O 2 and the GLORIOUS Model O are wired gaming mice in the same lineup. The Model O 2 is newer and lighter. It also has smaller circular shaped cutouts in its body. On the other hand, the older Model O has slightly larger honeycomb-shaped cutouts in its body and an additional RGB lighting zone in its scroll wheel, which the newer Model O 2 lacks.

Logitech G PRO X SUPERLIGHT

The GLORIOUS Model O and the Logitech G PRO X SUPERLIGHT are both amazing ultra-light gaming mice. The Logitech has a simple design, and it’s slightly smaller and lighter, making it a great fit for almost all hand sizes using any grip type. It’s also more versatile as it can be used wired or wirelessly. On the other hand, the GLORIOUS features a honeycomb pattern and RGB lighting, giving it a more gamer-centric look.

HyperX Pulsefire Haste

The GLORIOUS Model O and the HyperX Pulsefire Haste perform quite similarly. Both options are wired-only and feature a honeycomb design, but the HyperX is shorter and a bit lighter. It also has a wider CPI range and slightly better click latency, though the difference shouldn’t be noticeable. On the other hand, the GLORIOUS' cable is a little more flexible, and its set CPI is slightly more consistent. It also allows you to save more than one profile to its onboard memory.

Razer Viper Mini

The Razer Viper Mini and the GLORIOUS Model O are two excellent gaming mice. The Razer is lighter than the GLORIOUS. The Razer is also smaller than the GLORIOUS. The cable on the GLORIOUS feels slightly lighter.

Logitech G Pro Wireless

The Logitech G Pro Wireless is a better mouse for most people, but the GLORIOUS Model O is a better choice for those who want a lighter option. The GLORIOUS is wired, while the Logitech is a wireless mouse. The Logitech has two side buttons on each side, and you can swap them out for them to sit flush with the mouse's body. It's also fully compatible with macOS.

Logitech G502 HERO

The GLORIOUS Model O is a much lighter mouse than the Logitech G502 HERO. The GLORIOUS has a much more flexible and lightweight cable, which should be better for gaming. The Logitech has a sniper button and a much larger design that's better suited for people with bigger hands. It also has an unlockable scroll wheel and a nice comfortable thumb rest.

Logitech G305 LIGHTSPEED

The GLORIOUS Model O is a better ultra-light gaming mouse than the Logitech G305 LIGHTSPEED, as its honeycomb design makes it very lightweight. It also feels slightly better built and more comfortable. However, the Logitech is better for people with smaller hands. The Logitech is also a wireless mouse but has almost the same click latency as the GLORIOUS.

Razer Viper Ultimate

The GLORIOUS Model O and the Razer Viper Ultimate are both great ultra-light gaming mice. The Model O is a bit lighter thanks to its honeycomb design, but the Razer is also impressively lightweight considering it's a wireless mouse. If you have small hands, you may find the GLORIOUS a little bit too large, while the Razer may be more comfortable. Both have impressively low latency and a wide adjustable CPI range.

GLORIOUS Model O Wireless

The GLORIOUS Model O Wireless is slightly better overall than the GLORIOUS Model O, but they're very similar and have the same shape, with the main difference being that the Model O is wired-only while the Wireless can be used wirelessly or wired. On top of that, the Wireless has a wider CPI range which you can adjust by smaller increments, and it feels better-built. However, the wired Model O is marginally lighter, and the sensor is a bit more consistent whether the cursor is moved quickly or slowly.

Razer DeathAdder V2

The Razer DeathAdder V2 is a slightly better gaming mouse than the GLORIOUS Model O if you're a palm or claw grip user. Its shape is more rounded, but the lightest option between the two is the GLORIOUS. The GLORIOUS is also available in an even smaller design, which is great if you have small hands. The honeycomb design makes it significantly lighter. It has a better quality cable, smoother-gliding mouse feet, and onboard memory. It has a wider maximum CPI, a lower latency, and a slightly more consistent sensor. Comparatively, the Razer has a lower minimum CPI and more programmable inputs thanks to its HyperShift feature, which gives you a second layer of customization.

Razer Viper

The Razer Viper performs similarly to the GLORIOUS Model O and is almost just as light, even though it doesn't have a honeycomb pattern to reduce its weight. The Viper has two side buttons on each side, and its body is slightly smaller than the GLORIOUS. However, if you have small hands, the GLORIOUS is also available in a smaller size, called the GLORIOUS Model O-. Also, the GLORIOUS cable is noticeably lighter and more flexible than the Razer.

However, the mouse is a bit bigger and may not be well-suited for people with smaller hands. Both mice have low latency and a customizable CPI, though the Razer has a wide range of CPI options and can be set with increments of 1, which is great.

The SteelSeries Aerox 3 Wireless and the GLORIOUS Model O are very similar mice, as they're both ultra-light mice with a honeycomb body and an ambidextrous shape. However, the SteelSeries is better overall, mainly due to its wireless connectivity. This means you don't have to deal with cable drag, and you can connect it with two devices simultaneously. It's just as light as the GLORIOUS, and it has more programmable inputs because it lets you reprogram the wheel's up and down scroll. That said, the GLORIOUS feels better built, and it has higher quality feet that provide a smoother glide. The GLORIOUS also has a longer body, making it more suitable for large hands using a palm grip.

Build Quality

This mouse feels very well-built and solid, and while it's all made of plastic, it doesn't have any gaps or squeaking parts. However, the scroll wheel may be problematic at times as the rubber moves but not the wheel itself, causing delays when scrolling. It's also worth noting that the honeycomb-patterned holes will likely let dust into the exposed circuit board, though we aren't sure if this will affect long-term durability. If you're not a fan of the open shell and would prefer something with even better build quality, check out the Endgame Gear XM1.

The GLORIOUS Model O's sensor has a wide CPI range, but you can only adjust the sensitivity in increments of 100, which isn’t that precise. However, the set CPI is very consistent, whether you move the cursor slowly or quickly, and you can adjust the polling rate from 100Hz to 1000Hz. The lift-off distance is advertised as being less than 1.2 mm, but due to our testing methods, we can't confirm that. You can also change it to just under 2.4 mm if that’s what you prefer. If you want a similar mouse with a wider CPI range, check out the HyperX Pulsefire Haste.
