The GLORIOUS Model O is an excellent ultra-light gaming mouse that feels very well-built and solid, with a honeycomb-pattern design that places it among the lightest mice we’ve tested. This wired-only model comes with an outstanding cable that’s lightweight and flexible. It has a total of six buttons, including two on the side, and all of them are easily programmable within the companion software. The sensor's performance is also extremely accurate and consistent, and the mouse has a wide CPI range. It also has excellent click latency and a very comfortable ambidextrous design suitable for any grip style. However, its large body isn’t well-suited for people with smaller hands who may feel more comfortable using the GLORIOUS Model O-, a smaller version that performs similarly.
Our Verdict
The GLORIOUS Model O is only decent for office use. It feels very well-built and should be comfortable enough for all-day use for most people. However, it's wired only, so it may be problematic if you have a small or cluttered desk with things the cable can get caught on. On the plus side, all six buttons are programmable, which can be useful to help with your workflow and jumping through your desktop quicker. If you have smaller hands, you may want to check out the GLORIOUS Model O instead, as this mouse may be slightly too large.

Unfortunately, it only has two extra side buttons, so hardcore MMO fans may be better off looking at something more dedicated to those types of games. Popular Mouse Comparisons
The GLORIOUS Model O is a lightweight gaming mouse with an ambidextrous shape. It's lightweight and feels very well-built, which can be an issue sometimes with mice that have honeycomb cutouts in their body. For more options, see our recommendations for the best mouse, the best wired mouse, and the best gaming mouse.
The GLORIOUS Model O and the GLORIOUS Model D are both ultra-light gaming mice that perform very similarly. The main difference is the shape of these two mice. The Model O is an ambidextrous mouse, while the Model D has a right-slanted design. The Model D also has a higher lift-off distance and seems to have more flex than the Model O.
The GLORIOUS Model O 2 and the GLORIOUS Model O are wired gaming mice in the same lineup. The Model O 2 is newer and lighter. It also has smaller circular shaped cutouts in its body. On the other hand, the older Model O has slightly larger honeycomb-shaped cutouts in its body and an additional RGB lighting zone in its scroll wheel, which the newer Model O 2 lacks.
The GLORIOUS Model O and the HyperX Pulsefire Haste perform quite similarly. Both options are wired-only and feature a honeycomb design, but the HyperX is shorter and a bit lighter. It also has a wider CPI range and slightly better click latency, though the difference shouldn’t be noticeable. On the other hand, the GLORIOUS' cable is a little more flexible, and its set CPI is slightly more consistent. It also allows you to save more than one profile to its onboard memory.
The GLORIOUS Model O is a better ultra-light gaming mouse than the Logitech G305 LIGHTSPEED, as its honeycomb design makes it very lightweight. It also feels slightly better built and more comfortable. However, the Logitech is better for people with smaller hands. The Logitech is also a wireless mouse but has almost the same click latency as the GLORIOUS.
Test Results

The GLORIOUS Model O has a simple style with customizable RGB lighting along each side, on the scroll wheel, and inside the mouse itself, which shines through its honeycomb pattern holes. There's a logo on the side, but the rest is rather plain. It's available in four colors: glossy white, glossy black, matte white, and matte black. If you're interested in a similarly lightweight gaming mouse with heart and diamond-shaped cutouts instead of the honeycomb holes on the GLORIOUS, check out the Vancer BT.L Gretxa.
This mouse feels very well-built and solid, and while it's all made of plastic, it doesn't have any gaps or squeaking parts. However, the scroll wheel may be problematic at times as the rubber moves but not the wheel itself, causing delays when scrolling. It's also worth noting that the honeycomb-patterned holes will likely let dust into the exposed circuit board, though we aren't sure if this will affect long-term durability. If you're not a fan of the open shell and would prefer something with even better build quality, check out the Endgame Gear XM1.
This is a very lightweight mouse, though it doesn't have any customization options to make it lighter. if you're interested in an even lighter mouse, check out the Pulsar Xlite. Or, if you're not a fan of honeycomb designs, try the Razer Deathadder V2 Mini.
This mouse feels very comfortable. It has a symmetrically-shaped body, but it only has side buttons on the left side. It's well-suited for any grip style and most hand sizes. If you have smaller hands or prefer a smaller mouse, There's a separate smaller model available, the GLORIOUS Model O-, as well as a wireless version, the GLORIOUS Model O- Wireless. There's also the BenQ Zowie S2 that's available in two different sizes, and if you prefer mice with a right-slanted design, check out the near-identical GLORIOUS Model D. If you're looking for a true ambidextrous option with a pair of buttons on both sides, check out the EVGA X12.
This mouse is wired and can't be used wirelessly. If you're interested in a wireless version of this mouse, check out the GLORIOUS Model O Wireless, the GLORIOUS Model O 2 Wireless, or the GLORIOUS Model O PRO.
The GLORIOUS Model O has a remarkable cable that's lightweight and flexible. Take note that since we tested this mouse, the included cable has been updated, and we expect it to be even better.
While this mouse only has two extra side buttons, it has six total programmable buttons, including the scroll wheel, the small DPI switching button, and the L/R click button. This may not be enough for MMOs, but it'll likely be adequate for most gamers. You can also set up multiple profiles, but they can only be switched through the software. Although this an ambidextrous mouse, it doesn't have buttons on either side in case you want to use it left-handed like the Ducky Feather.
This mouse has excellent click latency and is well-suited for playing games in any genre.
Note: The debounce settings are customizable within the software and this mouse was tested at the lowest possible option (4ms). The default setting is 10ms. The 4ms setting may cause instances of double-clicking, so you may find it helpful to adjust this setting over the lifespan of the mouse as the switches age.
The GLORIOUS Model O's sensor has a wide CPI range, but you can only adjust the sensitivity in increments of 100, which isn’t that precise. However, the set CPI is very consistent, whether you move the cursor slowly or quickly, and you can adjust the polling rate from 100Hz to 1000Hz. The lift-off distance is advertised as being less than 1.2 mm, but due to our testing methods, we can't confirm that. You can also change it to just under 2.4 mm if that’s what you prefer. If you want a similar mouse with a wider CPI range, check out the HyperX Pulsefire Haste.
This mouse has a fairly standard incremented scroll wheel with no horizontal tilt. The wheel feels very smooth and precise, but it may cause delays at times, as the rubber moves but not the wheel itself. It also works as a button and can be customized.
The mouse clicks are quiet and shouldn’t disturb those around you, even if you're in a very noise-sensitive environment.
The GLORIOUS Model O software is great and offers a lot of customization options, including full RGB adjustments. It also has onboard memory, so you can save your settings to the mouse and use it on multiple PCs without losing them or having to reinstall the software. Unfortunately, the GLORIOUS Model O Software isn't compatible with macOS. If you're looking for a gaming mouse with software that works on both Windows and macOS, check out the SteelSeries Aerox 3 Wireless (2022).
While this mouse is fully compatible with Windows, it's only partially compatible with macOS. The software can't be installed on macOS, meaning you can't program the two side buttons to do anything, though the L/R click, scroll wheel, and CPI button still work. It will also maintain any RGB settings that you saved to the on-board memory from a PC.
