As always, our test methodologies depend on your feedback to improve. We expect our Running Shoes 0.8 test bench to cover some of the many aspects advanced runners look for when shopping for running shoes, but this is just the first iteration. It doesn't cover everything, and our efforts may not align with exactly what matters to you.
To better understand our initial approach to testing running shoes, check out our article from the R&D team: How We Use Compression Testing To Measure Energy Return And Cushioning Properties Of Running Shoes.
If you have any suggestions to improve our running shoe reviews, we encourage you to leave a comment on any page or email us at feedback@rtings.com. None of the tests on our website would be as good as they are now without your help!
